Match report A fantastic team effort from the Outlaw's set up a 3 run win against Mere.
We won the toss and decided to bowl and in the first over some quick thinking from Matty behind the stumps ran out their opening batsman.Despite not picking up another wicket in the Mere innings, the team did a great job in keeping the opposition down to only 263 (thanks to a lot fewer wides than previous weeks!). Will G and captain for the game George P both bowled their 3 overs for only 5 runs!In reply an opening partnership of 26 from Matty and Ben W set us on our way to victory with Will C holding the innings together well in the middle overs. So it came to the last over when we needed 5 to win. Thankfully a few wides settled the nerves and a boundary from captain George P got us over the line! Well done boys!
